Water and Fuel Supplies

Following our visit to Roslyn Bay where we needed to increase some capacity to make the passages to Mackay we now have:

- water:
* 30 litres in the built in tank (this is the standard capacity)
* 80 litres in four 20l containers
* 30 litres in bags (like the ones inside a wine cask) - these are very handy around the galley
* 15 litres in a container that along with another 10l container are the emergency spares (i.e., we do not plan to use these)

So the water should last 10 to 12 days.

- fuel
* 50 litres of diesel in the built in tank
* 20 litres of diesel in a container
* a further 10 litres of diesel in a container
* 5 litres of two stroke for the dinghy

And at 2 litres consumption per hour and avaerage of 5 knots when motor sailing we should have a range of around 200 nautical mile - more than enough to reach Mackay.
